I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for stopping by and looking at the website. I would be honored to have a part in Your special day. I am often asked, “what do you do?” The simple answer is, I officiate ceremonies. However, I feel that does not entail ALL of what I do.

DIVERSITY STATEMENT
Here, we celebrate the diversity of the human race. We are open to marrying anyone. Every race, creed, skin color, nationality, sexual orientation, or neurodiversity. All are welcome here! Our goal is to meet each couple where they are and help them have a positive wedding experience. We approach every wedding with an open mind - We don’t know anything about you until you tell us, and that’s only if you choose to tell us. Wedding ceremony scripts have been written for years for brides and grooms. Some couples are choosing to forego traditional gender roles altogether and are using the terms spouse or partner. If you have made the choice to use non-traditional pronouns, please let me know, and I will be happy to honor your preferences. Any wedding ceremony script can be changed to reflect your personal preferences.

Split Payment
50% deposit at booking, remaining balance due 1 week before the ceremony.Installment Plan
Weddings over $400 may be paid in 2 - 3 monthly payments. 50% deposit is required at booking. The balance is divided into 2 or 3 payments.

Rehearsal
There is great value in having your Officiant conduct your rehearsal along with your venue and/or wedding coordinator(s).
Together, we will review the staging, blocking, processional and recessional. The ceremony actions with you, your wedding party and your immediate family members will be staged at this time.
These combined efforts ahead of time will make sure everyone feels comfortable and the ceremony proceeds smoothly and goes well.
Rehearsal Ceremony not included in a package: $100
Holiday Fee: $100 (New Years Eve/Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day. NO ceremony will be performed on Easter Sunday or Christmas Eve/Day)

Your wedding can be anywhere! Let Rev. Justin L. Gates assist you. We are happy to provide wedding officiating services in any location you choose throughout the United States.
Some of the areas we have served have been, Memphis, Tennessee; Nashville, Tennessee; Knoxville, Tennessee; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; Texarkana, Arkansas; Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Hot Springs, Arkansas; Branson, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; Jackson, Mississippi; Oxford, Mississippi; Tampa, Florida; Orlando, Florida; St. Petersburg, Florida; Pensacola, Florida; Destin Beach, Florida; Panama City, Florida and Cincinnati, Ohio.

POLICIES
Deposit Requirement:
The Couple agrees to pay a deposit in the amount of 50% of total cost upon signing this agreement. This deposit will be put toward the total owed and places a ‘hold’ on the Officiant’s services on the wedding date given herein. This deposit is non-refundable, with a few exceptions (see Cancellation policies for more information).
Remaining Balance:
The Couple agrees to pay the remaining 50% balance for all services at least 7 business days before ceremony date.
Payments must be made via cash or using a credit or debit card with Square or cashapp. The link will be set up and provided by Rev. Justin L. Gates.
IMPORTANT: Unless told otherwise, and properly checked on contract, the Couple is responsible for providing any special materials they wish to use in the marriage ceremony, such as unity candles, unity sand, handfasting cords, wedding rings, etc.
CANCELLATION & CHANGE POLICY
IF THE COUPLE CANCELS OR REQUESTS A DATE/TIME/LOCATION CHANGE:
A Couple is not required to pay the remaining balance on services if they cancel at least 1 week before the scheduled ceremony. If the balance has already been paid, it will be returned if the cancellation occurs at least 1 week before the scheduled ceremony. Changes to a Couple’s wedding date, ceremony start time, or location will only be accommodated as the Officiant’s availability allows. If the ceremony cannot be satisfactorily rescheduled, cancellation guidelines will apply. Deposits are non-refundable except in extreme circumstances, such as severe weather (see below) or when either party to the marriage must be hospitalized for severe illness/injury before the ceremony can occur.
IF THE OFFICIANT CANCELS:
If the Officiant is unable to perform a Couple’s ceremony due to illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstance, an authorized Backup Officiant will be provided in their place. The Backup Officiant will be given full access to all ceremony planning materials, custom ceremony script (if applicable), etc., and will perform the Officiant’s duties as defined above in full. If the Couple chooses to hire an alternate replacement officiant on their own, the Couple will be given full access to any custom ceremony materials to use. If the Officiant delays the start of the wedding (due to late arrival, etc.) the Couple will be refunded 25% of the total ceremony cost.
BAD WEATHER CANCELLATION:
Ceremonies that must be canceled due to extreme weather or unsafe conditions affecting the venue and surrounding areas, such as tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, fire, or severe heat/cold, are fully refundable (including half of the deposit) and can be rescheduled with the Officiant based on availability.
